Countdown to Fish Fry Season 2012!

Fish Fry Season is coming soon!  Are you ready for some fried cod!
 Last year was a great year.  Check out the year in review below.  If you have some suggestions for the Fish Fry Family on places to visit this year, send us an email or post a comment below.  Thanks to everyone who sent  suggestions last year.  Fish Fry Guy apologizes for delays in responding to emails - the email isn't checked from April through December!

What in store for Friday Night Fish in 2012?
  • Fan Poll 2012:  Our annual Fan Poll!  Last year over 500 fans participated in polling.  Like last year, there will be two stages of voting.  The first round to choose five finalists to proceed.  In the second round, voters will choose from the five finalists to crown the Fish Fry champion of 2012.  First round voting will start on March 2nd.
  • Regionalism:  Our continued committed to exploring all parts of the St. Louis region to enjoy great and friendly fish fries!  We don't just talk about regional fish fries, we walk the walk.  We'll visit fish fries in the City, west county, north county, south county, Illinois, and beyond!
  • New Surprises:  And we may have new surprises for this year!  (However, we like to keep expectations low, so we won't throw out ideas we may try to implement this year)  Be sure to check back throughout the Fish Fry Season.

Year End Reviews

Sometimes it is hard to compare fish fries from year to year. Comparing that Cod from 2014 to 2008 can be a little tough. With that in mind, below is a yearly re-cap for each of the following years. We got a little busy in 2015, then 2017-2019 went by in a blur, so we are missing a few years, so sorry!

Fan Poll Winners - Best Fish Fry

Every year Friday Night Fish hosts a fan poll to crown a yearly fan favorite Fish Fry. It's a two step process with Round 1 selecting five finalists, and Round 2 voting from the final five to crown the yearly fan champion. So get ready every year for the annual poll and get your supporters voting for your favorite fish fry! We had some voting "irregularities" in 2014, so we discontinued the poll (for now).
