Wayfinding / Greening:
(2 out of 4 fishes)
Small signs near parking lot. No clear direction to the fish fry, although the smell of fried cod drifted pleasantly across the parking lot and led us to the front door. Small menu signs posted on the wall as you wait in line. You pay and fill out an order slip at the same time. About a 20 minute wait at 5:45. Not highly rated on greening. All styrofoam including plastic silverware. Did see a can recycling container. Plastic cups may have been recyclable, but didn't see system in place. Tartar and cocktail sauce in individual containers.
Food:
Very good cod, above average. Nice and flaky with a crisp coating. Coating wasn't dramatic, but let the cod flavor speak for itself. Sides were simple and limited, but well done. Side choices were mac and cheese, cole slaw, salad, mostacholi. Kids meal was cheese pizza. Homemade desserts, although there appeared to be alot of girl scout cookies being offered.
Value:
Good value. Our family of five was $25 total. Adult dinners were $7.50 which include dessert, drink (lemonade or coffee), and two sides. Kids meals were $5 for a 9" cheese pizza or $3 for a half 9" pizza, with drink and dessert. Beer was $1. Ala-carte pricing included $5 for fish, $1 desserts.
Atmosphere:
A sense of ordered chaos. Very small downstairs cafeteria had line, food, drinks, and tables all in close confines. The close confines did make for a loud buzz of activity. Friendly volunteers and fellow diners. Tables were the bench style cafeteria tables that are always a joy getting in and out from.
Overall:
2.5 out of 4
A good solid fish fry. Maybe a little tight on space to be able to rate higher. Cod was a highlight, it left me wanting more cod, which is always a sign of good cod. Kids were disappointed that there wasn't fries or hush puppies (but you can't please everyone in the Friday Night Fish Family). Everyone was friendly and in good spirits for the first fish fry! I think they only do their fish fry once a year on Ash Wednesday, so if you are looking for some good cod on Ash Wednesday, check them out!

Year End Reviews
Sometimes it is hard to compare fish fries from year to year. Comparing that Cod from 2014 to 2008 can be a little tough. With that in mind, below is a yearly re-cap for each of the following years. We got a little busy in 2015, then 2017-2019 went by in a blur, so we are missing a few years, so sorry!
